The Nueces County Junior Livestock Show Association is a 501(c)(3)
charitable organization whose aim and purpose is to promote and
encourage the work of 4-H Clubs, Future Farmers of America, Family,
Career & Community leaders of America, and adult leaders of Nueces
County in promoting app phases of agriculture, home economics, and
industry.

Livestock Show Parade
Robstown Area
Development Commission would like to extend an invitation to
participate in the 77th Annual NCJLS Grand Opening Parade that will
be held on Saturday January 14, 2012 at 10:30am in Robstown. The
parade line-up begins at 9:00am at the corners of Matiana Ortiz
Blvd. & Main Avenue and will proceed to the Richard M. Borchard
Regional Fairgrounds, with parking available at the Fairgrounds.
Trophies will be
awarded to the following categories: Best Float, Best Band, Best
Marching Unit, Best Drill Team and Best Mounted Unit, Best Vehicle,
Best Other Vehicle and Judge’s Choice.
The Nueces
County Junior Livestock Show is the largest show of its kind in the
state of Texas. The livestock show draws a daily crowd of over 1000
participants. One of the many highlights of the weeklong event is
the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show Parade.
We hope that you
will join us in achieving the goal of largest participation ever by
entering your band, drill team, 4-H club, float, decorated auto,
cheerleaders, or other entries. The parade is widely attended and
offers a great opportunity to promote your organization and display
support for a great event.
Robstown Area Development Commission is proud of COTTONFEST
'2011, an Annual Celebration of Culture, History of Cotton, and
Economy of Robstown & the surrounding area.
Historically,
cotton and vegetable farming have played an important role in
Robstown's economy. The community will celebrate this heritage this
year at COTTONFEST '2011, its October family festival. Live music,
arts and crafts, sports competitions, cook-offs, contests, GIGs,
and historical exhibits provide something for everyone.

2011 Christmas Lights Parade
will be held on
Friday, December 2, 2011 Line up will begin at 5:30PM at Matiana
Ortiz & Main Ave. Parade will begin promptly at 6:30PM and
proceed to Centennial Plaza for the lighting ceremony. For

St. Anthony's Fiesta Mexicana March 5-6, 2011. Parade, music, food, and fun can be found at the 30th
Annual Fiesta Mexicana. Money Raised will benefit the St.
Anthony's Parish Hall. Event will be held in the Central
Pavilion Arena at RMB Regional Fairgrounds Contact: St. Anthony's Church at
